Dallas Junior Golf Mentoring Program

Mentor a Junior Golfer!

Mentoring is lots of fun! The mentor program needs 12 hours of your time (2 hours each week) for six weeks each summer to share the game with youth who otherwise will not have the chance to enjoy. Mentors will assist park and recreation staff to teach the game of a lifetime.

Learning to swing that iron! Every summer, each City of Dallas golf course will host one 2-hour clinic session each week for six weeks for youth participating in City recreation center programs. As a thank-you, the Dallas Park and Recreation Department will provide each mentor:

Free golf round for every 4 hours of clinic participation
A Train the Trainer Class and Play Golf Day
During the summer months, play golf (free green fee) with two/three recreation center junior golfers at their designated home course, teeing off during non-prime time, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday – Thursday.
