City Park, a 22.1-acre special use park, has a long and rich connection with Dallas's history as the first city park, established in 1876. As Dallas’s first and oldest park, the greenspace maintains a collection of historic buildings and furnishings that date back to 1840.
We are seeking interpreters to help park visitors understand the history of the site and significance of the buildings to the North Texas area by providing guided tours and school field trips. Interested parties are encouraged to email proposals to citypark@dallas.gov
