OST @ Dallas Elementary Schools
The Dallas Park and Recreation Department provides FREE Out-of-School Time (OST) programs at 10 Dallas Elementary Schools via our Community Development Block Grant. OST programs operate according to the DISD calendar from 3pm-6pm on normal school days.
Activities:
In addition to a healthy snack and homework assistance, youth will experience a variety of daily activities including arts, sports, fitness, life skills, games. Our OST is designed to offer effective academic enrichment, physical fitness, nutritional and life skill programs to challenge children and make learning fun.
How to qualify:
To qualify for the program, a child must be between the ages of 5*-12 and must attend the school of where the OST program will be held.
(*5 years of age on or before September 1, 2024)
How to register:
Registration is done on-site at each school location during program hours. Please arrive with proof of residency (ex. utility bill), copy of driver’s license/identification card, and copies of proper identification for anyone who will be picking up your child.
